for another season

The Clinton Colts organiza
tion is getting ready fpr a full
season’s line up of hockey
action. Approximately 18 pro
spective players including mo st
of last year’s young team, have
turned out to the two meetings
held at the Community Centre
in recent weeks,
A hind raising project — a

held on Friday, October 13 at
the Community Centre. Tickets
are now on sale at $2 each and
can be purcheased from Colt
hockey players, Clinton Laun
dry, BilPs Billiard and Bow

Evening of music
The September meeting of
Unit 2, UCW, was held in the
church parlour with twelve
members in attendance.
Mrs. John Wise opened the
meeting with a poem and this
was followed by the singing of

It was announced that our unit
will sponsor, “An Evening of
Music” featuring “Huron
Centennial Youth Choir” under
the direction of George Cull;
also variety entertainment.

tober 20 at 8 p.m.

Park at 2 p.m.
Clinton Bantam B’s will host
Llstowel in the second game of
a best two out of three final
series. Clinton won the first
game handily by whipping the
Llstowel nine 13 - 5,
The game was originally slat-
ed for last Saturday but due to
a Centennial Field Day in Lis-
towel the visitors were unable
to attend.
The Bantams are the only
ieam in Clinton left in con
tention for a WOAA title an
it is felt that they just mlgh
take that title this Saturday here
at their own home park.
