Evan Mo- ' Lagan officiated in the double, ring ceremony of Eva Corrine Gibson, daughter of Mrs? Eva Walpole, Lqndon, and Robert John Lockhart son of Mr. and ' Mrs. John Lockhart, Auburn. The bride given in marriage byher mother and step-father was lovely in a floor-length gown of white silk sheer organza oyer taffeta. Her A. line skirt flowed from a fitted bodice. Applique chantilly lace bordered her Chapel train. A floral cluster held her four-? tiered French illusion veil and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink sweetheart roses. She wore a gold cross a gift of the groom. The attendants were Mrs. Robert Henry, London, sister of the bride, as matron of hpnoij Miss Bonnie Snell, Londesboro and Miss Joan Lockhart, Tor­ onto, sister of the groom were bridesmaids. Miss Janet Lock­ hart, Auburn sister of the groom was flower girl. The bridesmaids wore iden­ tical floor—length gowns of shrimp chiffon and each wore a wedding bell pearl drop neck­ lace, gift of the bride. The flower girl’s dress was iden­ tical to the bridesmaids, she carried a winsome basket of white mums and pink sweetheart rose?,' and wore a gold cross, gift of the bride. The best man was Norman Lockhart, Toronto, brother of the groom, the ushers were Roipert Henry, London, brother- in-law of tlie bride, and Larry Lockhart, Auburn, brother of the groom. Wedding music was supplied by the church organist and solo­ ist Miss Barbara Snell of Lon­ desboro, sang ’Q Perfect Love’ end ’I’ll Walk Beside You’, For a recption held at the Golden Pheasant Motel, Lpndon, Mrs, Walpole, mother of the bride, chose a vellow ensemble of lace coat over a lace sheath with black accessories. Her corsage was of bromze mums and yellow, rosebuds. Mrs. Lockhart, mother of the groom chose a two piece dress of coffee brown embossed satin With black accessories, Her corsage was pink roses. The bride’s table was centred by a three-tiered wedding cake and the hall was decorated with pink and white streamers and wedding bells, ? Our beautiful fall lines of FOOTBALL On Friday, September 15, there was an exhibition football game between the CHSS Redmen and Mitchell High School. Clinton won. The score was 6-0. It is the hope of the football team uqd the student body that the team will be able to maintain this position for the season. COMMENCEMENT Commencement was also held in the evening of September 15. The first one from October 12 to 15 is the honor trip of which the School Board pays part. . The second trip is from October 18 to 22 and is for all students* It costs about $50. The School Board hopes to have about 500 students go on the second trip. The last week of September is to be Student s?Week, inorder to raise the school spirit of CHSS to the highest calibre.
