The ice-making equipment is
paid for and due to arrive this
week.
The ground floor of the ex.
tension is virtually complete
and work has begun on the floor
of the second storey, which will
house the auditorium.
The “Ways and Means” Com.
mittee have great plans for
future fund raising activities,
including the “Grocery Bingo”
(see advertisment in this paper)
and a dance on September 29.
The latter event will also be
held in the arena, and “Music
to dance to” will be played
by Doug McCann and his
orchestra.

Bayfield’s community arena is getting a new auditorium through
the co-operative efforts of the village’s citizens. Several men,
residents of the village spent part of their Labor Day holiday
doing construction work on this community project, which they
