Hie daughter of Mrs. Esther Wright, Kippen, and the late Frank Wrlj^it, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Betty Scott, Seaforth, and the ' late Malcolm Scott, Wedding mpsic was played by Mrs. Don Carter, Seaforth. She accompanied the soloist, Miss Joan Sinclair^ SQafprtli, who sang "Perfect Love” before the ceremony and ‘‘The Wedding pyayerrr during' me signing of the register. Given In marriage by her* uncle, Qrland Reichert, Hen­ sell, the bride chose a floor­ length gown of peau de faille on princess lines, The bodice was fashioned with a round neckline and angel sleeves em­ bossed with dainty scrolls of ribbon over sheer. Two rows of tiny covered buttons enhanced the gown from the neckline jto the hemline of the skirt which swept to a chapel train. A' dainty pillbox of matching Mb- ric held her shoulder-length veil of French illusion. The bride carried an all-white bri­ dal bouquet of philonopsis or- chids. Miss Gaye Elliott, London, attended the bride as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Don MeClinchey, Galt, Miss Cheri Scottj Seaforth, and Miss Lois Wright, Kippen. The four attendants were gow* ned alike in floor-length, sleeveless gowns of melon chif­ fon pver taffeta, featuring pet­ alled necklines. They wore mat. ching pettaled headpieces of tulle and chiffon, and carried cascade bouquets of pink and white roses and fern. Ian Sim, Galt, attended the groom as best man. The usher s were Wayne and Charles Scott, Seaforth, and James Wright, Kippen. L ■ To receive her guests in the church parlor, Mrs. Wright chose a two-piece dress of aqua lace, white chiffon picture hat, white accessories and a cor­ sage of talisman roses. She was' assisted by the groom’s mother in a pink linen sheath dress with pink lace bodice and ■ * .« matching sleeveless, tliree? quarter-length coat. W.ithi -ttiiiei she wore a navy silk-velvet picture hat, navy accessories and a corsage of white roses. Following an evening recep- ti,p|i in the Legion Hall, Sea- forth, the bride and groom left pn a wedding trip to Bermuda. For travelling, the bride wore a powder blue silk crepe dress, white straw hat and white pat­ ent accessories, ■ On their return, they will re- side on Chalk Street, Seaforth. Mrs. Wright entertained at a trousseau tea for her, daughter on Saturday, July 29, Pouring tea were Mrs. Lloyd Holland, Exeter, grandmother of the groony-elect; Mrs, OrlandRei- chert, Hensall; Mrs. Everett McIlwain and Mrs. Stanley Mc­ Ilwain, Goderich, aunts of the bride-elect. In the ^afternoon, gifts and trousseau were displayed by Mrs. Keith MeClinchey and Misses Cheri Scott, Debbie Mil- ler, Margaret Flannery and Lois Wright, The guests were served by Misses Gaye Elliott and Linda Workman. Assisting were Mrs. David Triebner, Mrs. Bert Faber and Miss Bren­ da Triebner. In the evening, Mrs. Gary Alexander, Mrs, Peter De Wys, Misses Carol McIlwain, Mary Lansink and Lois Wright showed the gifts and trousseau. Serving the . guests were Mrs. Greg Mac­ Donald and Mrs. Don McClin- chey. Assisting were Mrs. Or­ ville Workman, Mrs. Ervin Sillery, Mrs. David Triebner, Mrs. William Norman, Mrs.' Harold Mawson, Miss Linda Workman and Misses Janice and Nancy Sillery. The guest book was in the charge of Misses Susan Scott and Cathy McIlwain. The bride is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Alex J. Mustard and the groom’s parents are Mr, and Mrs. Gordon L. Hill, all of Varna. Rev. M. Morrison, assisted by Rev. C. Jardine, officiated at the double-ring ceremony, . while Mrs. Bruce Keys, Varna, aunt of the groom, presided at : the organ. The soloist, Miss Sharryn Barfoot, Arva, sang "Just a closer walk with Thee” and "The Wedding Hymn”, Given in marriage by her • “father, the bride looked lovely in a floor-length gown of white transition organza over taffeta fashioned with a shallow scoop neckline, belle sleeves and sheath skirt. A four tiered scalloped illusion veil was held in place by a cluster of seed pearls and three .miniature roses. She carried a cascade of pink roses, gardenias, steph. anotis and ivy. Miss Nancy Mustard, Varna, jwas her sister’s maid of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Lynda Hill, Varna, sister of the groom, Miss Ruth Ann Neil, Kincardine, and junior brides­ maid was Miss Wendy Mustard, Varna,sister of the bride. They were dressed alike in floor­ length gowns of multi-colored organza over pink terelyne crepe with scooped necklines, sleeveless empire bodices and sheath skirts. Floor-length veils of pink nylon tulle fell from a circle of pink minia- : ture carnations in their hair. They carried nosegays of pink carnations. Flowergirl, Miss Marion Hunt, Seaforth, niece of the groom, wore' a floor-length gown of pink organza over pink terelyne crepe. She wore pink carnations in her hairv and carried carnations in a small wicker basket. Best man was Nick Whyte, Seaforth,and ushers were Dave Inglis, Walkerton, Edgar Pil­ grim, Eden Grove, and Sandy Mustard, Varna, brother of the bride. For a wedding reception at The Little Inn, Bayfield, the < bride’s mother received her J guests wearing a light blue 1 crepe sleeveless sheath dress featuring a front draped panel and scooped neckline compli- ' mented by pink accessories. Her corsage was of pink sweet- ; heart roses and miniature car­ nations. The groom’s mother assisted,. wearing a two-piece , sleeveless ivory knit suit ac- ■ cented with ivory satin trim and ?! off-white accessories. With this she wore accessories of brown and white and a corsage of yellow sweet­ heart roses.
