Donald Swan, Paul Dixon and Douglas Ball successfully completed the nursing course for attendants and passed ex­ aminations qualifying them as Registered Certified Attend­ ants. All will remain as em­ ployees of the Qoderich Ontario Hospital. The certificates issued.by the Department, of Health, Mental Health Division were, signed by Dr. Matthew Dymond, Ontario Minister of Health and Wel­ fare; Dr. Michael F. Conlon, superintendent of the Ontario Hospital at Goderich; and Mrs. M. Cole, director of nursing. Chairman for the event was R. McDaniel and guest speaker was Miss Norah ^Roberts, for­ mer director of nursing. Pins and diplomas were pre­ sented by Mrs. M. Cole, Mrs. Stringer and A. Costello. Pre­ sentation of awards was by Miss S. Chisholm to Robert Steep for psychiatric nursing; Dr. W. N. Watters to Mrs. Jean < Simpson for general pro-. ficiency; and R. McDaniel to Miss Jeanne Anne Stover for academic excellence. Attending clergyman was Rev. J. Donald MacDonald.
