Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Red- . mond, Goderich, and her bro­ ther, Archie McLeod of Aust­ ralia, visited with Westfield and Auburn friends last Friday., Mr. and.Mrs. George Wright and family, Toronto, spent(the weekend with Robert Arthur and Jayne. We are sorry to report that William J. Craig is ill at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Betty Wilkin, and family in Goderich. We wish him a speedy recovery. Rev. M. R. Roberts was in Toronto last week attending a conference. The deceased was born in Goderich Township on the Cut Line, daughter of John and Elizabeth Gardner. She had liv­ ed in Goderich for a number of years before coming to live with het niece, Mrs. Herb Jen­ kins, Clinton, 25 years ago. She Was a member of the Presby­ terian Church in Goderich. Miss Gardner had been ill only a short while prior to her death. She is survived by one bro­ ther,. Adelbert, Goderich; three nieces, Mrs. ijerb (Elva) Jen- - kins, Clinton; Mbs. Stahley (Bessie); McLean, Goderich; Mrs. E;‘ C. (Joyce).
