Mrs. John Monsoo visited for a few days in London this week, Mr. Goodfellow of London has bought what is known as the Coffee Shoppe and has taken possession. Holds Monthly Meeting The monthly meeting of the W.A. was held Thursday evening last at the home of Mrs* Milton Sweitzer with nineteen members and four visitors present. Duncan McKellar Duncan McKellar of Cromarty died in Scott Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 4, following an illness of three weeks. Born in Hibbert 54 years ago, he was a sop of Alex McKellar, and the late Mrs. MbKellar, well known Cromarty residents. The depart ed man possessed a quiet, unas suming nature and was well liked by everyone. Surviving him are his aged father, Alex 'Sandy' McKellar; '3 sisters, Mrs. Wilbert (Annie) (Miller, of Staff a; Mrs. John (Jessie) Hamilton, and Miss 'Sarah McKellar, Cromarty, and one brother, Malcolm Mc Kellar, Seaforth. He attended school at No. 6 Hibbert,and later took up farming on the .Mc Kellar homestead west of Crom arty where he spent his entire life. The funeral took place on Saturday. A service was held at 2:00 p.m., at his late home, lot 18, concession 10', Hibbert. In terment was in Roy’s cemetery. What you need is a tractor! Brucefield Group Meet The Adult Fellowship Group of Brucefield United Church held its final meeting of the season. The special speaker for the evening was Ross Milton, of the R.C.A.F. Station, Centralia. His topic was “Atomic Energy” and ah open discussion was held on this subject and Mt. Milton an swered questions .put to him by the members. An interesting film, in teehni- colour, of the Northern Pacific coast, “Trail of the Midnight Sun”, was shown by Henry Car ter. The Rev. E. R.
