Creditor) Church Scene Of Spring Wedding The Evangelical U.B, Church at Crediton was the scene of a lovely spring wedding Saturday, April 15, 1950, when Elsie May, daughter ..of Mr. Albert A. Gaiser, was united in marriage to Rpbert Ross Tuckey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benson Tuckey, Exeter. Rev. J. V, Dahms performed the double ring ceremony, of ficiated by Rev. H, Mahoney, in a setting of yellow and white spring .flowers, ferns and candel abra. iMiss Norma Fahrner sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “At Dawning”. The wedding music was played by the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Freeman .Morlock. The bride walked down the white carpeted aisle on the arm of her father. She was gowned in all white fashioned with a nylon yoke, lace bodice and lily point lace sleeves, her skirt was panels of lace and French net ending in a .train. She wore a French embroidered illusion veil held in place by a tiny bonnet shaped headdress with a rosebud under the bonnet. .She carried white roses outlined with white lace and* trailing ivy. The matron of honor, iMrs. Robert C. Dinney, sister of the bride, wore pale green nylon marquisette and the two brides maids, Mrs. Arthui’ ,W. 'Gaiser, and Miss Ruth Ratz, .wore daf fodil yellow nylon marquisette. They 'carried nosegays of violets with trailing ivy. Their bonnet shaped headdress had tiny bunches of violets on either side and they wore mits to match their dresses. Little (Susan 'Dinney, niece of the bride, was flowei’ girl. 'She wore daffodil yellow to match the bridesmaids’ dresses and she wore a garland 'of hyacinths on hei’ head and carried a tiny nose gay of hyacinths with trailing ivy. Jack Hennessey, Harrow, was best man an the ushers were Bill Tuckey, . Exeter, Melvin Dashwood. A reception was held Monetta. The groom’s wore a beige suit with and matching accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. For travelling the bride wore a gray-pick and pick suit, pink hat and gloves, navy purse and shoes ’and a corsage of pink rose buds. After a honeymoon trip, to Washington D.'C., Mr. 'and Mrs. Tuckey will reside in Exeter.
