consolation finals
Last Wednesday the Clinton
' Colts edged out the Thorndale
Angels by a narrow score of 6-5
in the first game of the Huron-
Perth finals.
Cam Macdonald bailed star-
ter Brad Dutot out of a hole in
the ninth inning with a superb
relief job. With runners on first
and second and nobody out,
manager Bob Livermore
yanked Dutot and brought in
Cam Macdonald. Macdonald
in one of his finest relief perfor-
mances of the year struck out
the next two batters and got
the third one to ground out.
With relief help from Cam,
Brad was able to yen his pit-
ching record to seven wins and
two losses for the season.
The Colts entered the game
with three of their leading hit-
