COMPLAINTS SERVICE
Consumers have a new outlet
for serious complaints about
the performance of major home
appliances, reports Consumers'
Association of Canada. A new
program called RSVP has been
initiated by the Canadian Ap-
pliance Manufacturers
Association, 10 Price Street,
Toronto. Within two weeks of
the receipt of a complaint, a
representative of the company
conerned will tontact the
owner at his home to review
the situation. This service is in-
tended as a last resort if
negotiations with the dealer
have proved unsatisfactory.

nett of Foresters Falls. Bennett,
who is on the provincial
executive of the Federation, is a
dairy producer.
"Canadians should be eating
Canadian-produced butter, but
they won't be in the future if
they refuse cream producers an
adequate return for their work
and investment". The price
these farmers get for their
cream is determined solely by
the federal government.
Bennett also points out that
the income position of the
farm-separated cream producer
has deteriorated far below that
of industrial and table milk
producers. "Farmers cannot
produce cream just for the fun
of it. They've also got to make
a living out of it",
The letter to Whelan
demands that these increases
be implemented immediately.
