Mr. Robinson, assistant head of the English Department at the Goderich District Collegiate, and head of the dramatic arts program, gave his views of the Dramatic Arts and portrayed the course in an interesting way. Speaking of drama in conjun- ction with teaching methods he said, "It is a hand-in-glove af- fair." He said drama in education is a tool to promote interest and can be used to teach every subject from English, science to mathematics. Participation in drama to a student not achieving his full potential or to a slow learner can be like "dealing the kids a E. Cayley Hill of Goderich was re-elected chairman of the. Huron County Board of ,Education for a second term at the organizational meeting of the board in Clinton Monday. Mr. Hill, who is one of the representatives of the Town of Goderich, was acclaimed when the other ttominee, Wilfred Shortreed of RR 1, Walton, asked to have his name with- drawn. Mr. Shortreed, who represents the Village of Brussels and the Townships of Morris and Grey, was ac- claimed vice-chairman when the other nominee for the position, Herbert Turkheim, of Zurich, asked for his name to be withdraen. Mr. Turkheim said that as he had been on the board for only one year he did not feel he had the experience for the position at this time. Mr. Hill, Mrs, J. W. Wallace of Goderich, Donald J. McDonald of RR 2, Brussels, and Mr. ShortrPed, were elec- ted to a striking committee to divide the remaining 14 trustees (the chairman and the vice- chairman are ex officio mem- bers) between the two commit- tees, education and management.
