BILL 274 The only bargaining sanction teachers have: the right to tender mass resignations. - VIOLATES A basic civil right of all workers - the right to free collective bargaining. IMPOSES Compulsory arbitration on teachers which negates free bargaining rights. Rotations between the teaching profession and the Ministry of Education have been needlessly disrupted by the Introduction of this bill. We, the teachers of Huron County reject the idea that we are using children as pawns. Our concern Is that these children grow up In a democratic Province where Individual human civil rights will be recognized.
