Come See The
Come on out tonight and see this year's version of
the Clinton OHA Junior "D" Mustangs.
The new, improved Mustangs are sporting, this year,
one of the finest Junior "D" teams in this part of On-
tario. Their chances of bringing a championship home
to Clinton are the best in several years.
The Mustangs this year are undefeated in ten
games; with eight wins and two ties.
Tonight, they face the powerful Belmont Sunsets,
who are one point ahead of Clinton in the standings.
Clinton, however, has two games , in hand and with a
win tonight, and a win i9 Belmont on Saturday night,
the Mustangs should be well on their way to topping
their league this season.
Besides the players, the coach, and the executives,
whom you will meet inside, it takes many more people
to run the team, faces that never show up on the
bench or in public.,
Among those are Dave Fawcett, who keeps readers
Informed of the Mustangs feats every week in the
News-Record, Doug Kennedy, who is always at a game
helping in many ways, and "many more including
mothers, fathers and friends who do all the little
chorea every week, so necessary to the running of a
successful Junior "D" Club.
Another important ingredient not to be overlooked
are the fans. And this year they have been coming out
in increasing numbers to support their local team.
