CUB LEADER
The Ladies Auxiliary to
Cubs, Scouts, Guides and
Brownies, telephoned us to say
they have a leader for the cub
pack in the person of Allan
Yates, and have contacted
some assistants who are in-
terested in helping Mr, Yates.

Saturday Oct. 13 from 5.30 to 7
pm, in the Municipal Building.

ears is eligible to join the

BAYFIELD BEAUTIFUL
Many ideas for "Keeping
:ayfield Beautiful" were put
'orth at the meeting last week,
ailed by the persons who plan-
ed the flowers in Clan Gregor
quare this summer. It was
ecided that the same beds
ould be planted in much the
-ame manner next spring, and
hat spring flowering bulbs
ould be planted this fall. A
ommittee was appointed to go
to the next council meeting
with a request for a small ap-
propriation.
The same plan used this year
for maintenance a family
responsible for a week, will be
tried again, Because many
people expressed a wish to sup-
port the project, but are unable
to personally work, containers
will be placed in the Village
Market, Grahams General
Store and the bank to receive
donations of money for fer-
tilizer, edging etc., as well as
the cost of the bulbs, Anyone
having perennials or bulbs to
donate, may leave them with
Loraine Fisher or cliff her At'
