Mr. John Martin, assisted by Mr, Fred Munnings officiated at the double ring ceremony. Mr.' Jake Roorda was the organist and he accompanied Mrs. Jeanette Martin who sang "The Wedding Prayer" and "I'm Thankful God Gave Me You." Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown she fashioned herself. It was made of white crepe with a high rise bodice, panelled front, and chapel train. Dainty tucks on the front bodice and the top of the long set in sleeves were set off with Guipure lace trim, Her hair was caught back by a floral headpiece with trailing flowers and she carried a round posy bouquet of white car- nations orange delight roses, white divinity daisies caught with gold and orange loops. Mrs. Mae Boldus of Strathroy, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and Mrs. Eileen Moerbeek, friend of the bride, and Miss Linda Langen- doen, sister of the groom, were attendants, They were dressed alike in long gowns of orange dotted white swiss over soft orange, fashioned with high rise bodices, and full sleeves with velvet ribbon trim ending in tight cuffs. All had white daisies in their hair and carried round posy bouquets of white divinity daisies and blue star flowers taught with gold and orange loops. Mark Harris of Stratford, friend of the groom, was groom- small and ushers were Tim Bylsma of Clinton, brother of the bride, and Bob Stephenson of Clinton, friend of the groom. Following the wedding, a reception was held in St. An- drew's Presbyterian Church Hall, which was decorated with baskets of daisies and orange glads. Mixed garden flowers decorated the tables. For a wedding trip, the couple travelled to Muskoka and points east. The couple are residing on Rattenbury Street in Clinton. Prior to their wedding, the bridal couple were honored at a couples shower given by Mr. and Mrs. Hank Gelling and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Lobb. A sur- prise shower was given by Miss Anne Hayter and Miss Micki Nott entertained friends of the bride from Wil-Dex to a miscellaneous shower at her home. 411C11111 Our third meeting was held at the Holmesville Public School. Our meeting started out with the 4.H Pledge and then the minutes were read. The cover for our 4-H book was designed by Carole Weber. We discussed the foods of Britain, England, Scotland and Ireland. We also discussed our plans for Achievement Day and our handout sheets were taken u Mrs. Banter and Ann Elliott demonstrated a delicious food called Finnan Haddie with egg sauce.
