At- dents were gowned alike in )or-length shrimp coloured au de sole and silk organza, turing empire waists, oped necklines and long full eves. They wore wide- .1111111"._. brimmed soft straw hats to match. Miss Kristine Corrie, niece of the bride, was junior bridesmaid and Miss Joanne Layton, niece of the groom, flower girl. They were gowned alike in full length dresses of white batiste, flocked with tiny Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Craig flowers, styled as the senior at- tendants, All the bridesmaids carried flowing white baskets of shrimp roses, starburst pompoms, royal blue strawflowers with a haze of baby's breath. Tom Leppington, Bayfield, was groomsman and David Corrie, Clinton, brother of the bride; Jeffrey Corrie, nephew of the bride; Roger Layton, brother-in-law of the groom and Mel Rohner, Clinton, ushered the guests. Mrs. Maureen Pommer, Lon- don sang "Love, Look at the Two of Us" "The Wedding Song" and "Speak Softly Love" during the ceremony, ac- companied by Mrs. Carol LeBeau, Brucefield, Guests were received by the parents of the bride and groom at the Seafoth Golf and Coun- try Club. The bride's mother chose a floor-length gown of lilac polyester crepe featuring an empire bodice, hand-beaded cummerbund, scooped neckline, full Bishop sleeves of lilac chif- fon.The groom's mother wore a mint green chiffon, full skirted gown with an Alencon type lace bodice with deep V neckline and full-length sleeves edged in accordion pleated ruf- fles. Following the wedding din- ner and reception, the bride donned a soft yellow and white street-length dress topped with a sleeveless over-coat. Her cor- sage was a lavender Cattleya orchid for the wedding trip to Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Craig reside at 81. John Street, Clin- ton: Prior to her wedding, the bride was honoured at a crystal luncheon given by Mrs. Carol Bowker and Mrs, Lorie Corrie a miscellaneous shower given by Mrs. Marion Willson and Mrs. Helen Davies and a miscellaneous shower at the home of Mrs, Judy Layton, Brucefield, The couple were also entertained at a surprise party given by Mr. and Mrs. Mel Rohner. The bride's mother entertained her daughter at a trousseau tea at her home. The spacious daft° floor of the White Carnation is one Of the highlights of the hall. It retains the old red glass brick floor of the Carnation Plant and adds the atmosphere of an old barn. the auto at right is used for orchestras that are brought in from across South- Western Ontario.
