Further afield still went Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Young. They
have just returned from a
month's holiday in England. A
number of Mrs. Young's com-
ments were interesting,; here
are just two. She noted that
prices in Great Britain have
soared over the past two years -
much the same as here. She
also remarked upon the
growing interest in the buying
and selling of antiques. This
has its parallel here also. Mr.
and Mrs. Young were driven to
Mahon International Airport
by Mr. and Mrs, Bob Morgan,
also in the party were Mr. and
Mrs. Tom Morgan.

And so, since the last writing,
hayc,,haci our rain - the
mention of which brings to
mind the following ditty by the
late Baron Bowen and
probably familiar to many of
you
The rain it raineth on the
just
And also on the unjust
But chiefly on the just,
because
The unjust steals the just's
umbrella.
The writer of this column
fails to qualify on either count -
on the wettest day she forgot
her umbrella and could not
find one to steal had she been
motivated that way!!!
