The church was decorated by the Sunday School teachers, and the flowers at the front of the church were placed by Mr. and Mrs. Jim Scott Jr. in honour of the marriage of their daughter Donelda Judith to John David Dixon in the church Friday evening. Following the sermon, Rev. McDonald read the poem "People who are young", followed by promotion of the Sunday school students and they were welcomed by their new teachers. The Sunday School will recess and re-open August 19 for the Fall Session. Next Sunday, July 15, an open air church service and congregational picnic will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Lion's Park Seaforth with Rev. C. Heckendorn of Kitchener, a for- mer minister of this charge, as guest minister. Please bring lawn chairs, dishes and eats for your own family, drinks will be supplied.
