The Canadian niiresteis held their annual Chicken Barbecue on Thursday June 14, it proved to be very successful again this year, Congratulations are exten- ded to Mr, and Mrs. David Preszcator on the birth of a son "Gregory Wayne" on June 12 in Seaforth Community Hospital, Mrs. Ella Jewitt and Steven visited on Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. William Dawson, Brenda, Bonnie and John of Varna. Mrs. Luther Sanders has returned home after. spending five weeks at London with her grandchildren Paul, David and Jane Reid, while their mother went to England it being 21 years since she came to Canada and had not seen her relations in that time. Last Friday evening Miss Pearl Thames of Walton visited Mrs. Luther Sanders in London and both attended the graduation of Jane Reid at Roosevelt School. Mrs. Ella Jewitt held a bridal shower in honor of Miss Amy Stewart of Welland on Saturday evening with relatives attending.
