AIMWELL UNIT
The Aimwell unit of the
U.C.W. held a work meeting on
May 22 to prepare for the ham
supper. A short business
meeting followed.
Addie Hunking and Audrey
Thompson volunteered to be at
the door for Gail Lear's piano
recital on June 4. On lunch
committee are Helen Lee, Mar-
jorie Duizer, Margaret Whyte,
Mary Peel, Margaret Good and
Addie Hunking. Proceeds from
the recital are to buy more new
hyrnnaries for the church. The
tentative date for the unit pic-
nic is August 12, Muriel
Sewers, June Fothergill and
Mary Peel are to plan the pic-
nic.
The next meeting will be
June 18 at the home of Mar-
jorie Duizer. Florence Cart-
wright and Joan Whyte are to
make up the Junior
congregation list. It was
suggested that the Junior
congregation graduation age be
lowered to those entering
Grade two and that a Bible
Story book be given at
graduation rather than a Bible.
The unit would like to thank
all for help and attending their
Ham Supper and making it
such a success.
