George Youmatoff, gave an inspiring message. "Today is the 'third day'. We celebrate not peace, but the hope of peace . Good relations with all men are a must so that life and not destruction will be the hope of the world. It is late in the affairs of the world, as it was with the dying thief crucified beside Christ. It was not too late for him. Christ rose to bring us hope when things seem most hopeless; comfort when our best friends seem to have left us. Live in that hope Christ is Risen today". The Junior Choir contributed a lovely anthem. St. James Church was festive with the traditional Easter lilies and daffodils. Flowers on the altar were placed there by Mrs. Fred Mid- dleton in loving memory of her husband.
