Following the dinner, presen- tations of the trophies began: high average woman, Sheila Keys (177); high average man, Don Switzer (222); high triple woman, Edith Falconer (649); triple man, Howie Grealis (731); high single woman, Betty Switzer (263); high single man, Ted Cudmore (295) Team 2 walked off with high team triple (3392), season team winners and the playoff champs, led by Captain Howie Grealis, Edith Falconer, Edna Elliott, Carol Volland, Toni Denomme, Grant Volland and Cliff Hallam, The high team single (1206) was won by Team 3 led by Captain Ted Cudmore, Phyllis Edwards, Florence Elliott, June Shanahan, Barb Vandamme, Garry Elliott and • Jack Armstrong. The most improved bowler for men and women were June Shanahan and Jack Armstrong both coming up 41 points. Agnes Glazier and Cliff Hallam took the ladies" and men's lowest scores. Bowling News New Executive were elected the following: president, Garry Elliott, vice-president, Frank Van Altena; secretary Barb Vandamme, treasurer, Toni Denomme. A dance followed with the Four Country Gentlemen playing. Door prizes were won by Audrey Lyndon and Larry Bennett. Many special thanks to Milt and Mabel for donating the trophy for play-off champs and to Bill and Suzanne German for donating a trophy and all the glasses. Also a big thanks to Jim Switzer, Jim Overboe and John Gollen for their assistance. The president for 1973 is Dr. John Underwood of Seaforth. There are two vice-presidents for this season, Dick Eisler of. Goderich and Don Armstrong of Clinton, The secretary of the league is Kaz Budny from Goderich, Kaz has worked very hard to get this league off the ground. The treasurer is Dave Zyluk while the registrar is his wife Victoria. Clinton, Goderich, Exeter and Seaforth have entered teams in this newly formed 'league. Sixteen teams from each town will compete with four different age groups par- ticipating. 'The season is slated to begin June ,second with games being played on Satur- day mornings. Don Armstrong has a supply of soccer boots for those in need at an approkimate cost of $5.00 The league is still looking for teams from other communities to enter the league.
