Crooked teeth
bad for chewing
Most of us are aware that
crooked teeth are unsightly.
Some of us realize that the
"buck" teeth of a teenager can
lead .to :emotional • problems.
But few people know that
crooked teeth can cause
digestive problems. If the upper
and lower teeth do not meet
properly, the person cannot
chew his food properly. This
also leads to decay because par-
ticles of food can't be dislodged
from overlapping teeth. A good
"bite" has a self-cleaning ac-
tion.
Pain in the jaw joints can be
created by crooked teeth. The
sad fact of this disadvantage is
that the joint pains don't
usually show up until years
later -- when it is not as easy to
straighten teeth. Treatment can
begin as early as 8 years old.
Crooked teeth can also cause
speech difficulties. Combine
these with the mental distress
which often occurs with
digestive upsets and you can
have a major psychological
problem,
Poor temperament from
regular digestive upsets, shame
from speech problems or un-
sightly teeth or chronic decay
can seriously undermine a
child's confidence. The day
when people laughed good
naturedly at the person with
the Andy Gump chin and the
buck teeth has gone the way of
the Model T Ford.---Canadian
mental Association.

For your tears to wash away."
Ever rembered by his wife and

--
WHITE: In loving memory of a
dear father and grandfather, Bert
White who passed away on April
10, 1972.
It's Lonely here without you Dad,
We miss you more each day,
And Life is not the same to us,,
Since you were called away.
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peacefully, free from pain,
We could not wish you back,
To suffer that again.
God knew that you were suffering,
The hills were hard to climb,
So he closed your weary eyelids,
And wished you peace be thine.
Will always be remembered by
Philip, Sharon, Christopher and
Ruthann.-15h
MANN: In loving memory of a dear
husband,, father and grandfather,
Roy, who passed away April 12,
1972.
April the twelfth will always be
A very sad day for my family and
me.
I know we should not question or
distrust,
I know we should not doubt,
Why God took him away from us -
And left us here without.
He took him from pain and cares
and suffering
His work on earth is over.
He fought so hard to live for us
But he and we could do no more.
We did what we could to please him
While on earth he did remain
He enjoyed his business, relatives
and friends,
And racing was his game.
He had many friends while on earth
To go with him and he took me too
To the races and on business trips
And we went on Sunday "dos".
Yes! he really loved us all and he
left his mark-
Sad and lonely memories are
always here to stay;
But each of us with broken hearts
As we go along life's way-
What a friend we have in Jesus
All our cares and griefs to bear
God we left him with You.
Give him your love and care.
Treasure him God in Your garden
of rest
For on this earth we loved him
He was one of the best.
Sadly missed by his wife, Stella, son
Douglas and wife Kathy and grand-
children, Bradley, Vickie and
