David Keyho, Program Con- sultant "frrom Midwestern" Oh- ta r i o Region ministry of education conducted these workshops, He made optimum use of many wall charts to em- phasize that gymnastics plays a prominent role in the "PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM." In his introduc- tion, teachers were asked to move about the room using speed and direction. At first, many followed a circular direc- tion, but later travelled over the floor in various individual directions with changes in speed. Then they moved using their hands and feet, hands and knees, and other personal con- ceived manners of movement. Each had the opportunity to use their own ideas using the various body parts to fully utilize movement from one area to another in the room.
