Clinton will be well represen-
ted at the Zone Finals of Youth
Bowling Council which will he
held in Collingwood this
coming Sunday, February 1L
Should any of the six teams,
win there, they will move on to
the provincial finals in March
and thence to the national
finals in Saskatoon in April.
Clinton will be represented
by senior, junior, and bantam
teams. Each will field a girl's
and boy's team, as well as
singles.
In other bowling action, The
Goldens still retain a slim lead
in the Molson's Crown Mixed
League with an 80 point ac-
cumulation. They are followed
closely by Hi-Jinx's and the
Crown Jewels, each with 78.
Behind the leaders come Zip
Cats with 67; Six Pack, 56;
Dot's Spots 47; Half and Half,
38; Canadians, 32. Kaye Harris
had both the ladies' high single
of 250 and the high triple of
709, while Gerry Harris has the
high average of 209. Ron
Ellerby had the men's high
single of 301, Les Turner had
the high triple of 698, and
Bruce Collins had the high
average of 216.
In the Clinton Crown Y.B.C.
League, Steve's Strikers had
led the way with 65 points,
followed by Alley Dusters with
61; Strike Outs, 60; Kelly's
Heroes, 58; Wild Cats, 53;
Wipe Outs, 52; Crown Royals,
51; and Tornadoes, 48.• Patti
Patterson had the girl's high
single of 219, while Kirsten
Barrett had the high double of
346. Rich Tye had both the
boy's high single of 245 and the
double of 477.
Giddy,Up-Go's lead the
Ladies Afternoon league with a
52 point showing, followed by
Alley Cats with 40; Afternoon
Flyers, and Mad Caps, 38.
Jerry Harris had both the
ladies high single of 238 and
the high average of 211, while
Jean Bartliff had the high
triple of 634.
The Godfathers continue to
have their own way in Bill's
Men's League, with a 24 point
total. The Colts are second
with 16, followed by the Un-
predictables with 8 and the Out
of Towners with 7. Tom Murch
had the high single of 248.
In the Wil-Dex League,
Heidelburgs are still first with
47 points, followed by October-
fest and Red Caps with 32, and
Molson's Brewers 30. Dorothy
Govier had the ladies high
single of 198 and the high triple
of 489. Wayne Allen had the
men's high single of 215 and
the high triple of 571 went to

Sea Monkeys are out in front
in the Clinton-Blyth Ladies
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cullen
have just recently returned
from a trip to Hawaii where the
annual meeting of Hobson
Bros, builders of "Surge"
milking equipment was con-
vened at the Sheraton-Waikiki
Hotel.
The good weather allowed
them to motor to Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, to board one of
four charter Jets, all carrying
Surge dealers and their wives,
A total of nine days were spent
at Maui, Kauai, and Oaha.
It was interesting to see the
different dairy set-ups on the
islands, On Maui, they visited
the HoleaKala-Crater which
measures seven and a half
miles across, 21 miles around
and is 10,000 feet above sea
level, A half hour in the air and
the next stop was Kauai, "The

Hawaii was spent at Waikiki
on Oahu, a 20 minute flight

bie Johnston had the girl's high
single of 241 and the high triple
of 681, Paul Anstett had both
the men's high single of 354
and the high triple of 774.
In Bill's Mixed League,
Team Two lead the way with
73 points, followed by Team
Three, 67; Team Four, 60 and
Team One 52. Edith Falconer
had both the ladies' high single
of 229 and the high triple of
649. Sheila I•Cys had the high
average of 178. Don Switzer
continues his domination of the
men's honors with the high
single of 331, the high triple of
696 and the high average of
225.
In the Londesboro Ladies'
League, Jump-N-Beens are in a
class by themselves with total
points of 94, compared to the
69 of Jelly Beens, their nearest
rivals. Mixed Beens follow with
66 and In-B-Tweens have 37.
Brenda Radford had the
ladies' high single of 308,
Delores Howatt had the high
triple of 672, and Nancy Roy
had the high average of 202.
Alley Dusters are in front in
the Bayfield Bowling league
with 85 points, followed closely
by the Alley Rats with 82; the
Bull Shooters, 79; and the
Cock-A-Dodle Do's, 76.
Madelon McIlwain had the
ladies' high single of 256 and
the high triple of 666, while
Willie Brown had both the
men's high single of 278 and
the high triple of 675.
In the Tuckersmith Mixed
League, Seldy'e Sumacs lead
the way with 80 points followed
by Cliff's Chesnuts, 67; Bob's
Birches, 58; Wally's Willows,
56; Ed's Elms, 49; and Joost's
Junipers, 48. Isabel Rogerson
had both the ladies' high single
of 235 and the high triple of
583, while Bill Rogerson had
both the men's high single of
343 and the high triple of 722.
