that more people will turn out
to the games.
The Mustangs are now in
sixth place, a play-off spot, and
are climbing, up. They need
more support.
The Bantams went into
Grand Rend Tuesday night
with Mike Gibbings laid up
with the "flu" and Paul
Priestal sitting out a game as 'a
result of a late game miscon-
duct in an earlier game in
Goderich.
These absentees proved too
much for the remainder to
make up and the usually tough
Grand Bend crew proved ,their
quality by eking out a 5-4 win.
Clinton came on strong late in
the third period but were
vainly trying to tie the game as
the final whistle sounded.

Playing before an excellent
crowd last Friday night the
Clinton Colts dumped the
Lucknow Sepoys 9-6. The Colts
led 5-2 after the first period
and 7-4 after the second,
Three Colt players each had
a pair of goals. Bud Boyes,
flutch Fleet and Rick Fremlin
each netted the twine twice,
Other scorers were Don $ar-
tliff, "Joe" Livermore and Paul
Draper.
After playing a fine first
period, the Colts seemed to sit
back and let the Sepoys skate
in on goalie, Dennis
Fleischauer without much in-
terference,
On Sunday afternoon .in
Milverton, the Colts played two
good periods of hockey but sim-
ply collapsed in the other
period as the Four-,Wheel
Drives motored over the Colts

club in the first period, the
Colts couldn't score and went
to the dressing room losing 3-1.
In the second period the Colts
were outplayed, outhustled and
outscored as Fleischauer faced
approximately 20 shots.
Luckily for the Colts they
emerged from the second
period losing 6-2.
The third period was the
Colts best as they definitely
outplayed the Four Wheel
Drives,. Greg Burns and Rick
-Fremlin each had a pair of
goals Willie Don MacDougall
and Laurie Colquhoun had one
goal apiece. The Colts were
assessed five minor penalties
while the Four Wheel Drives
had nine minor penalties.
Again an excellent following
of Colt fans attended the game
in Milverton.
