The queen for the Second Annual Bayfield Winter Carnival
held last weekend in Bayfield was pretty Sharon Bunn, 13, of
Bayfield. She will reign until next year. The Lions, who spon-
sored the event, said the Carnival was successful and netted

The end of another year was
busy for the people of this area,
Mr, and Mrs. Irvine Tebbutt
travelled the greatest distance
of anyone, leaving on Dec, 20th,
flying from London to Calgary
to spend the Christmas Holiday
with their son Gordon and his
family. They returned on Dec,
28th. Gerry, Shirley Tebbutt,
Gregory and Wendy from St,
Catharines spent the New
Year weekend at Irvine's.
Ivan Merrill was home from
Toronto where he is attending
Ryerson University,
The Mel Klazinga family
spent Boxing Day at Harriett's
parents in Goderich.
Mrs. Fred Lobb's family held
Christmas on the 24th. Harry
and Shirley Rick and Bruce
were up from Toronto. She
spent Christmas Day with Mr,
and Mrs. Les Jervis and New
Year's Day she was a guest at
the Raymond Whitmore home
in Clinton.
Susan Lobb was home from
school at Fanshawe for the
holiday.
The Harry Oakes family
celebrated Christmas on the
16th.
Alvin and Linda Jones and
family attended the People
Family Reunion held in
Seaforth every Christmas: They
also had a Jones family
gathering at the Jones home in
Clinton.
The John Tebbutt family
spent Christmas with the
Malloughs in Goderich. Wayne
Tebbutt was home from Lon-
don where he is attending Fan-
shawe. Paul and Pat
Dockstader flew from Ottawa
for the New Year weekend. The
IrVine Tebbutts, Gerald Teb-
butts, Bob Frenchs and Paul
Dockstaders celebrated New
Years at the John Tebbutt
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Lobb
and Gordon, Mr. and Mrs.
Bruce Lobb and family held
Christmas with Mr. and Mrs.
Don Lobb and family.
Tom Lobb was home with his
family for the holiday. He is
going to Guelph University. Mr.
and • Mrs. Hutchinson and
family from Goderich spent
Christmas with the Jim Lobbs.
New Years the two families
met at Hutchinson's home.
Don and Alison Lobb and
boys visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Gerald Allen Toronto and then
spent a day with the Alf Plum-
mer family in Oshawa,
Liz Thompson has been
home from the University of
Guelph for the holidays, The
R.E, Thompson& celebrated
Christmas on the 24th with the
Workrnans of Hensall and the
25th with the Aikens, Clinton.
New Years the Workmans were
at the Thompson home. Steve
Thompson spent New Years in
Ottawa.
Jim and Shirley Comerford
and girls of Halifax were
visitors at the Don Forbes
home over the Christmas
Season. The Cliff Ashtons of
Clinton, the Keith Ashtons of
Windsor, the Jim Comerfords,
and Jim's parents from
Meaford were guests of Dons
for Christmas Day.
The Murray Forbes' family
spent Christmas with the Watt
Forbes and New Years with
Mrs. Edith Landsborough Clin-
ton.
Mr. and Mrs. Lew Tebbutt
and family of Woodstock spent
a few days with Mr. and Mrs.
Carmon Tebbutt at Christmas
time.
Christmas Day guests at the
Lorne Tyndall home were Mrs.
Wise, Mr. and Mrs. Alf Hudie
and son, Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Glenn and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Doug Dale, Mrs. Vera
Lawrence of Hamilton, Mr.
Doug Bylsma, and Miss Karen
Sheardown. On the 26th the
Tyndall Family met at the
White Carnation for their
Christmas. This was also a sur-
prise party for Mr. and Mrs.
Lorne Tyndall who celebrated
their 25th wedding anniversary
earlier.
Mr. and Mrs. William Lobb
and family spent Christmas
Day with the Cuyler family in
Kincardine. Guy Duke returned
home with them for the rest of
the holidays. Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Duke and family of
Bramalea spent a . few days
over the New Years weekend.
Mrs. Kathleen Cuyler David
Cuyler and Joyce Smith were
guests for the New Year's din-
ner.
The Johnsons of Toronto
spent a few days at their home
on the 16th.
