' I’ve never been much for dressing up in fancy finery. Let’s face it. The day beautiful’ faces, figures and features were handed out, I was out to lunch. You can only do siq much. With what I’ve got and believe me, it bias all been done. I * The Christmas' meeting- of toe Fidelity Unit opened with, the devotional given by Rev. Mowatt. Members answered the roll call with a Christmas thought and Mrs; Jervis conducted a Christmas carol contest. She al so read1 toe story of the carol “Christians awake salute the happy mom”, composed by John Byrom of England , as a Christ mas gift for his "daughter, Dolly in the year 1745. It was set to music and has been sung in thousands of churches at Christ mas time through the years. Miss McGregor gave a timely reading entitled, • “Wrappings” and gave a dramatic rendition of toe poem, “The Inn That Mfesed Its Chance.” Mrs. Andrews, assistant lead er took charge of the business. Mrs. Armstrong read an appre ciation of Christmas cards sent to Korea. The children there enjoy them and plans were made, to send more. An interesting letter was re ceived from the group’s foster child. Cards were sent to two mem-, bers who were unable to be present. An extra bale is being prepared by this unit to go to Blind River in time for Christ mas to aid some Indian families.
