held their Christmas meeting on
Tuesday afternoon, December 6,
After meeting separately for
business, 'the unlits met together
in the church parlour for an
interesting program.
Mrs. A. Groves welcomed the
ladies present, The devotional
.period on the theme “The Three
Wise Men", was led by Mrs. M.
Batkin and Mrs.. G, Potter,
Special guests representing
Poland, Germany, Sweden, Den-,
mark, Yugoslavia, the Nether
lands, Scotland and England
were present. Each told of the
Way in which Christ’s birthday'
was pbser.ved and of the festive
celebrations that were held dur
ing the Christmas holiday sea
son,

Mrs', J. Kirby, Mrs. H. Kuiper,
Mrs. J. Penner, Mrs. C. Skov,
Mrs. C. VanDamme, and Mrs.
B. A- .Zablocki.' Decorations, and

teresting. , ' '
Mrs. W. Holland With her ac
cordion and Mrs. D. Bisback
with her mouth organ enter-
tainecl with several Christmas
selections.
Mrs. M. Wiltse thanked tlho
ladies who had taken part in
the program and the meeting
closed with prayer by Mrls. G.
Mills.
■Christmas carols were sung
under the leadership of Milss S.
Countice, with Mrs. E. Radford
at the piano. Members enjoyed
meeting the guests during the
social time which followed.
Executive members of the-

of arrangements for the meet
ing.
