The picnic was organized by Junior Farmers Invited To Other Counties The regular meeting of Hu- County Junior Farmers was held in the agriculture board rooms, Clinton, oh Wednesday, June 29 with Bob- Fo'thering- ham presiding. Treasurer’s re­ port was given by Don Pullen. Report on Essex County ex­ change trip, July 15,. 16, 17 weekend was given by JoiAnne Alton. AH jpniors are encour­ aged to attend, and Welland County has invited Huron Jun­ iors to visit their part of On­ tario, August 13-14 weekend. Mr. Pullen introduced George Cull, a Clinton high school teacher, ^who suggested Huron>• Church Summer School groundk on June 27th. After viewing the grounds the meeting was held in ithle spacious1 dining room where Mrs, Harold Tyndall, assistant leader of Unlit 3, welcomed' everyone. The devotions- were in the Charge of ‘ 'Mrs, Elmer . Trick’s. group. The Scripture and medi­ tation on nature was taken by Mrs. George Potter followed by prayer: The chapter on “Free­ dom" ■ in the Study book was given by Mrs. Norman Tre­ wartha., The group plans to visit Ont­ ario Hospital at Goderich on the afternoon of August 23 and London Conference school for United Church Women will be held in St. Thomas August 22,. 23, 24, 25. Anyone who could attend this meeting should con­ tact their Unit leader. After the business the re­ mainder of the evening was spent in contests, music and dancing arranged by Mirs. Har­ old Tyndall and Mbs. Wilfred. Parker. A delicious lunch Was served by the ladies of Unit -----------o----------- day County Junior^Farmers form "a choir as a Centennial project. More thiarf 250 descendants of Irish immigrant Edmund Looby, who settled near Dublin in the 1850’s ’gathered in Dublin for a reunion last Saturday and Sunday, Rev. A. R.
