The primary classes were in charge of Mrs, A. J. Sweitzer, Mrs, G. McKnight and Mrs, A. Bowen. Mrs. C. Wilson was pianist. After presenting their gifts to the minister ^Rev, H, J. Mahoney the ’Children sang two numbers, Roxanne Beavers and Bob Rus­ sel gave readings, Mrs. E. Gart­ er’s class recited a choral read­ ing from the scripture lesson. At the evening service a beautiful Christmas Pantomine was presented by members of Mrs. Doerr’s Sunday School class, Four scenes’portrayed the story of the Nativity. For the musical setting the girls sang Christmas carols. Those taking part were: the angel, Bonnie Doerr; the three kings, Marilyn Skinner, Joan Witmer, Sandra McKnight; the Shepherds, Patsy Tuckey, Rena Murray, Mary and Margaret Wildfong; Joseph, Connie Ost- land. A social half hour was enjoy­ ed at the conclusion of the Pantomine. Exeter Native Dies Of Monoxide Poison Funeral service for Olin Or­ ville Hooper, 62, of London, who died Wednesday night of mon­ oxide poisoning was held Satur­ day at the Needham Memorial Chapel. Mr. Hooper, who retired this year after 3’2 years as a bus driver for the London Street Railway, was found unconscious in his car and was pronounced dead on arrival at Victoria Hos­ pital. Deceased was a native of Exeter having received his early education at the Exeter school. He was a son of the late Albert Hooper, The Rev. A. P. Gillies, of Centennial United Church, conducted the service, Pallbear­ ers were friends of the family. Burial was in Clinton Cemetery. Honored On Anniversary Mr.' and Mrs. Arthur Amy were honored on Friday evening nt the home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bagleson, on the occasion of their thirty-fifth wedding anniversary, About forty relatives and friends were pre­ sent, spending the evening in games, contests and music, Congratulations and gifts were received to which both respond­ ed, expressing their thanks and appreciation, and being grateful for the privilege of traveling this far together, Flowers and a beautifully decprated three-teir cake graced the table. Doug. Knowles led the singing with Harold Sturgis at the piano. The roll call showed o n e lacking for a perfect attendance. $25 was vot­ ed to the Children’s War Memor­ ial Hospital, London. Bob Dinney, chairman of the Health and Welfare Committee reported two families with sever­ al children needing dental care. The committee was given author­ ity to have the work done. J. B. Creech reported a fair response to the Chrismas Seal campaign although considerably behind that of last year. A draw for a picinic ham was won by W. G.
