FINK - HENSALL ELIM VILLE The second meeting of the Woolen Wizards Club was held at the home of Mrs. Delmar Skinnex* on Wednesday Novem- ber 13 with 11 girls present. The meeting was opened with some favorite songs The Roll call was answered by showing a sample of wool and a reason why it was wool. At the next meeting' the loll call is to be answered by giving the name of one wool material and its weave. A demonstration was given by Mrs, Harold Taylox* showing how to press and shrink the wool fox’ the skills; Names wex*e drawn for Christmas and all gifts are to be brought to the next meet­ ing The next meeting is to be on December 13 at the Elimville Hall. The Elimville Institute pre­ sented their play “Coveralls” in Woodstock on Monday evening. Mrs. Richard Atkinson of London spent the week-end with her nephew, Mr. Cefar Atkinson, and family. United Church service Novem­ ber 26 at 3 p.m. is Men and Mis­ sion Sunday. Rev. L. C. Harrison has start­ ed a class for confirmation of senior Sunday School pupils of St. James’ Church. The class met at Mrs. Tomes on Monday after­ noon for instruction. Mrs. Guy Harrison is spending a few days with her daughter Mrs. Wilmer Scott and family. Clandeboye School pupils have set December 6 for their Christ­ mas concert in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Banting attended the Royal Winter Fair, also visiting their son and family in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hodgins entertained Saturday evening in honour of Mrs. Hodgins’ father, Mr. James McRann, who was 85 years young that day.
