This concert is presented by The Toronto Star in co-operation with Calvary Church, Mr. and Mrs, Alex Lindsay have returned to their borne in ( Norwich after spending a week with their daughter and son-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Lampman. KIRKTON Mr. and Mr. Edwin Tufts and Annie, Miss Norma Tufts of London spent the week-end with Mrs. Truman Tufts and family. Mr. and Mrs. G. H, Buigin and sons George and Harold were Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Morris at Ailsa Craig. Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Marshall were guests this week with their ■cousins Mr. and Mrs. Hector Taylor of Exeter. Mrs. Lee Paul who has been a patient in Seaforth Hospital has returned to her home in the village. Miscellaneous Shower A miscellaneous shower held at the home of Mr. Mrs. Allan Fletcher Wednesday evening Oct. 11 in honor of Miss Rhee Smith, whose marriage is to take place in the near future. A short program consisting of reading and musical numbers. Miss Marian Coupeland read a well worded address. The bride to be received many lovely and usefull gifts, some 30 ladies at­ tended this social evening. The hostess assisted by her sister Mrs. Wilson Gregory served dain­ ty refreshments.
