Anderson was runner-up in the hotly contested Middlesex County Sportsmen's Association shoot held on Saturday at Crum- lin, Shooters from seven Western Ontario points contended. - He won the 16-yard 25-bird events with a perfect score of 25. Carrick had thirteen victims to his credit. Dashwood led sixth inning slammed a home score. For Fall 4SeedingBowling League Re-Organizes The Men’s Bowling. League held its initial meeting on Mon­ day night to prepare for the coming bowling season. Although not a lot was ac­ complished, several problems were ironed out. One important change made was that each team may now carry a spare if it so desires. The handicaps will be computed the same way as last year, except that they based on true averages handicap averages.. The league will hold meeting next Monday night, at which time the schedule, rules and regulations will be set. That will be the final date for entries in the league. Mitchell Legionaires Win C Ball Title In Finals With Dashwood Mitchell Legionaires won the Huron-Perth Intermediate “C” championship Friday night when they edged Dashwood 4-0 in the fourth game of the series. Two unearned runs in each of the first and third innings were responsible for the Dashwood loss. Hully pitched a one-hitter for the winners. Ray Yelle al­ lowed six safeties. In the first, White opened with a single, reached third on a passed ball and a wild pitch, and scored on an infield hit. Colquhoun singled in the same inning and scored on a wild pitch. In the third, two infield bobbles set up two runs for the visitors. Regier collected the only for Dashwood. Colquhoun two singles for the visitors. Outside of the two innings, the Dashwood team played steady ball to support Yelle. Manager Wally Wein’s team has been a major surprise in the Huron»Perth this year.
