Bob Russell Pitches Exeter To Victory In Opener At Home Sixteen-year-old Bob Russell won his first mound chore with the .Exeter Intermediates by whipping Goderich 6-3 in the opening game of the season on the local diamond. Huron County clubs turned out a larger attendance at the meet, and took a majority of the honours in the athletic pro­ gram. In two softball games that formed a twlilight final to a day of ball competition, .a Huron team of hoys defeated its Perth .opponents, 13-11, and a Huron girls’ team defeated Perth girls, 20-13.
