Mission, Band Hold Meeting The monthly meeting of the Mission Band was 'held on Sun­ day morning during the church hour. The meeting was closed with the Mizpah diction. Mission Circle Meets . The monthly meeting Mission Circle was held home ,of the Misses Dolores Betty Allison on Saturday after­ noon. Mabel Selves was in charge of the meeting. Hymn 50 2 was sung, followed with prayer , by Mrs, Mair. The scripture lesson was read by Dolores Allison. Business was discussed. Hymn 263 was sung. A piano solo was given by Betty Mair; vocal solo by Barbara Allison, accompanied by Dolores Allison at the piano. The topic was taken by Jean Cann, The meeting clcosed with a hymn, followed by the Mizpah Benediction. Community Night Well Attended Quite a large number of people* attended the Community Night at Thames Road School Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Mae Hod­ gert and Mr. and Mrs. John Bray were in charge. Prizes for euchre went to' High, Mrs. Jas. Hodgert; lone hands, high, Ross Hodgert; Passmore and Ross very delicious lunch Dancing followed. The Anna Fletcher Bible Class is having a crokinole party in the church basement on Friday evening of this week. All young people are -e or d lai 1 y invited. Lunch Will be served. The ladies of the Thames Road Church are meeting .with the ladies of Elimville Church Fri­ day afternoon at 2 p.m. for the World’s Day of Prayer.
