occasion being her ninth birth
day.
Farm Forum was held at the
Lumley School Monday evening.
The Y.P.U. are invited to
Elimville on Sunday evening,
February 5, at 8 p.m. to a Fire
side Meeting. All are cordially
invited.
The annual meeting will be
held on Thursday afternoon, Feb
ruary 2, at 2 p.m. in the church
basement.
Play practice was held at the
home of Miss June Coward on
Tuesday evening of last week.
Sunday school next Sunday
will be held at .10:15 a.m. and
church service at 11:15 a.m.

A social, evening was 3eld at
Thames Road School on Friday
evening with a large crowd in
attendance. Mr. and -Mrs. Roy
McLeod and .Mr. and Mrs. Or
ville Beaver were In charge. The
prizes for euchre were won by
the following: Ladies’ high, Mrs.
William Rohde; men’s .high, Mr.
Mac Uodgert; lone hands, Mr.
Mac Hodgert; low, -Mr. Thomas
Baliantyne and Mr. Don. Maver.
A very delicious lunch .was then
served. -Dancing followed. Every
one reported a good time.
