The hay rides wouldn’t pull
themselves through Ethel on
Friday night, so that’s where
the horses came in. Hay rides
were a perfect way to spread
the Christmas spirit over the
weekend, with wagons of
adults and children making
their way through the village
and carolling the whole way.

A Christmas ride
Youngsters and parents alike piled into a horse-drawn wagon to enjoy a hay ride through Ethel
over the weekend at Ethel’s annual community Christmas. The carriage ran through the town
spreading holiday cheer in the form of carolling on the cold, wintery night. (Shawn Loughlin photo)
May you and your family enjoy a Christmas
stuffed with lots of magic, merriment and delight.
