The Brussels PeeWee Reps hosted
Howick last Wednesday night, Dec.
16.
Brussels came out strong and
hammered at the Howick net the
entire game. Goals were scored by
Scott Dolmage, Hayden TenPas,
Luke McCutcheon, Mitch
Kellington, and Wyatt Ducharme.
Assisting were Ducharme, Dolmage,
Kellington, TenPas, McCutcheon,
Colton Hastings, Nic Zwep, and Tim
Waechter.
Continuing to hold strong in the
net is goalie Matt McNichol.
Brussels has just two games left in
the regular season.

All 12 teams of the Mondaydaytime curlers at the Wingham Golfand Curling Club saw action, Dec.14. Winning skips were IrvingElliott, Wendell Stamper, Stewart
Leedham, Mac Inglis, Bob Johnston
and Les Shaw.
The Monday night men’s teams
with skips Bill McDonald and Kyle
Forster picked up wins.
Tuesday night ladies league saw
skips Jenn Elston, Emily Elston and
Sue Fair come away with victories.
The competitive team winners were
skipped by Earl Fitch, Kyle Forster,
Aart DeVos and Calvin Ruttan.
The Wednesday night league saw
Karen Burke edging out her dad Earl
Fitch’s team with the game coming
down to the last rock in the final end.
Other winning teams were Wayne
Horton’s and John Daillboust’s.
The Thursday daytime curlers forthe third time this month did the cluband the manager a big favourpostponing their Christmas lunch sothe club could host a Morris-

In curling action the Pete Eskritt,
Irving Elliott,Wendell Stamper, John
Mann, Mac Inglis, and Bob Johnston
teams went home with wins.
The Thursday night family
winning skips were Bill McDonald,
Elli Schimanski and Kyle Forster.
The Belgrave winning skips were
Murray McNichol, Larry Johnston,
Fred Meier and John Nixon.

Curling Club would like to wish

The Brussels Atom Local League
played at home to Wingham.
After a slow start Brussels’ Cody
Harding put one in assisted by
Ronan Jarrod.
Wingham scored one before Noah
Terpstra bulged the twine twice.
Harding added another.
Wingham closed the gap, but
Brussels put on the heat and scored
four more. Netting goals were
Harding and Terpstra.
Wingham added one more.
Helping out with the goals were
Darren Evans, Jarron Thompson,
Brett Stevenson, Nolan Johnson and
Hudson Smith.
The Blyth Brussels Atom Girls
played BCH in a good game.
Everyone worked hard.
Sam Kerr scored with Sarah
Strome assisting. It wasn’t long and
the squad put in another by Delayna
Smith, with help by Shelby Higgins.
But BCH came out strong in the
second and got one past Julie
Beaven.
Kerr and Smith scored a goal
apiece. Helping out were Sarah
Mitchell and Brittany Walden. The
final score was 4-1.
The team next went up against
Walkerton.
Sydney Wightman scored two,
Smith got a hattrick, Shelby Higgins
scored two and Morgan Willie got
her first goal.
Beaven played well in net.

Girls win 4-1
The Blyth Midget Reps continue
to outplay their opponents at every
opportunity and have kept an almost
perfect record intact. The team
currently boasts 18 in the victory
column with one loss.
Their most recent games finished
with a 6-3 victory over Normanby,
followed by a 4-1 victory over
Drayton.
