St. Nick’s visit
The damp, chilly weather
couldn’t dampen the
enthusiasm as residents from
Brussels and surrounding
areas turned out for the annual
Santa Claus parade on
Saturday night. Lighted
floats created representing
businesses, municipalities,
organizations and even
families celebrated the fact
that there is no place like
home for the holidays.
Following the parade
everyone was welcome at the
Brussels, Morris and Grey
Community Centre for a visit
with Old St. Nick, some
skating and facepainting.
