The Blyth Brussels Bantam girls
had their first home game
Wednesday, Oct. 28 against Tiverton.
The girls started out well in the
first period with a goal scored by
Courtney Middegaal, assisted by
Tori Cardiff.
But Tiverton came back early in
the second to score two. The girls
seemed to lose their steam as the
game went on and Tiverton scored
again.
Then in the third period Heidi
Raynard pulled off an unassisted
goal leaving the team some hope to
tie it up.
Despite their efforts the final score
was 3-2 for Tiverton.
Good effort by goalie Justine Reid.
