The progressive and growing Municipality of North Huron is located in
the County of Huron, serving approximately 5,000 residents with a rural
and urban mix.
The CAO/Clerk is responsible for the efficient administration of the
Municipality and for providing up-to-date and accurate advice to
Council. As leader of the Management Team the successful candidate
will ensure that Council’s directives are implemented.
The potential candidate must possess strong communication,
negotiation and networking skills and be an accomplished leader and
team builder, working to ensure the continued success and growth of a
progressive and energetic community.
Qualifications should include a degree in public administration or
equivalent, coupled with considerable municipal related experience,
A.M.C.T./C.M.O. designation and a sound knowledge of all provincial
statutes, regulations and case law.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. The Township of North
Huron offers an excellent benefit package.
