In Lower Lakes Female Hockey League action, the Saugeen Maitland Lightning AA Midgets were tied for points with Burlington in the Toronto Aeros Goal Showcase Tournament after round-robin play this weekend. The Saugeen Maitland Lightning lost 3-1 against Scarborough, won 3- 0 against St. Thomas, and tied 2-2 against Burlington. Captain Ona Mezenberg, Owen Sound, led the team with two goals and an assist.
