A list of in motion events can be found at www.hpinmotion.ca. The need to get residents in motion is clear. Health unit statistics stated that in Huron County only about half of residents aged 12 and over are active enough for health. More than half of adults are overweight or obese and heart disease is the number one cause of death. As well, over one quarter of children are overweight or obese. Encouraging people to be in motion can help address some of these concerns.Brussels Skating Club REGISTRATION Saturday, October 3 10 am to 12 noon at Brussels arena Skating starts October 8 For information call Allyson Cardiff at 519-887-9988 Last chance registration ANYONE INTERESTED IN PLAYING Men's Town League Hockey 19 and over Contact: Jeff ~ 519-887-9790 Mike ~ 519-887-6449 Warm-up skate on October 8 at 9:00 pm Start date October 22 or 29 at 9:00 pm Sunday, Sept. 20 was a fantasticday at the Wingham Golf andCurling Club as the club held its seventh annual fall barbecue and received record attendance. This also was a huge success. The Cottrill family, Mike, Donelda and Shawn did a tremendous amount of work gathering items to auction and should be very proud of their effort and the ultimate result.
