The neighbours who live on,
have lived on and would like
to live on the 8th Line gathered
at the home of Mary and
Henry Rouw to say so long to
Bruce and Sharon Bromley,
who have moved to Blyth.
Sharon and Bruce were presented
with a painting of their farm
by Sheila Rintoul and two trees
for them to plant at their new
place and to remember the 8th
Line.
Everyone enjoyed the afternoon by
reminiscing old times on the 8th
Line and of course the potluck
supper.
Sunday morning I went to
Listowel fair to see my
granddaughter Heidi Craig and mydaughter-in-law Joyce Craig ofAtwood ride in the events of the horse classes. Heidi came third in the barrel racing and they entered many other classes.Listowel fair board did a good jobarranging the events. This year thehorse show had a new ring to showtheir horses in.
