We would like to thank our family for organizing a very special 50th anniversary celebration for us, including decorating in the church, preparing food, a photo session, open house and dinner. Thanks to all the friends and relatives who came and helped us recall events of the past 50 years and left us with more great memories. The very generous donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Duff’s United Church, Walton, gifts, flower arrangements and cards were greatly appreciated. Also, thank you to Susan Campbell for the beautifully- decorated anniversary cake and Grace Campbell and her helpers for serving a delicious dinner, similar menu to what we enjoyed 50 years ago on our wedding day. We want to also thank the grandchildren, Ruth Axtmann and emcee Dianne for the entertaining after-dinner program. – Lavern and Marion Godkin. 28-1p -------------------------------------------- ROUW. To our 8th line neighbours and friends we give thanks – for your words of condolence, cards, visits, food brought to our home, angels and gift certificates and for those who were able to make the trip to Forest for the visitation for my Mom.
