The Brussels U-10s start playoffs
against the second-place St.
Columban team.
It was a tough challenge for
Brussels and with St. Columban
scoring the first two goals Brussels
players had their work cut out for
them.
Devin Bachert put one in assisted
by Katie Roth. Delayna Smith had a
chance with a penalty shot, but it hit
the crossbar. Time ran out for the
team, but Justin Ford and Dylan
Prout played well in net.

Michael Craig, 34, of Walton, centre, took his first turn
behind a plow at the Canadian championships in Alberta.
The novelty class for anyone interested in trying their hand
with a walking plow and horse was completed and Craig
was delighted to be presented with a wrought-iron picture
frame for this effort. Craig is the son of Helen and Graeme
Craig, who also attended the event. (Photo submitted)
