Business Manager
For a period of approximately one year
The Business Manager plans, leads, organizes and controls all
functions of the Administration Department for both Homes for the
Aged and Apartments, to meet the standards established by the
Homes and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
Huronview and Huronlea Homes for the Aged are Huron County’s
municipal homes, providing health services for people who can no
longer live independently in their own homes and need nursing and
personal care 24 hours.

This position will be full time, 37.5 hours per week, complete with an

◆Ontario Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12)
◆Accounting or Business Administration Diploma from an accredited
Community College
◆Experience in accounting or finance

◆Excellent verbal and written communication skills
◆Excellent project management skills
◆Data processing and strong computer skills including: Microsoft Office,
Word, Excel and internet
◆Own transportation for work related travel
◆Skills to work independently
Preferred Skill Set includes the following:
◆Working knowledge of the Capital Tangible Asset legislative requirements
◆Previous experience in a Municipality with knowledge of the computerized
accounting and Asset Management function
◆Excellent organization and time management skills
This position will be posted internally and externally.
