Livestock for the week ending May
22 were 1,739 head of cattle, 560
lambs and goats.
On Tuesday fed steers and heifers
sold on a steady market. Choice
steers and heifers sold $100 to $104
with sales to $108.75. Second cut
sold $95 to $100. Cows sold on a
strong steady market. On Thursday
holstein veal sold steady. Beef veal
sold on a good active trade. Lambs
sold on an active trade at prices $5
lower. Sheep and goats sold on a
steady market. On Friday calves and
yearlings sold on a strong active
trade.
There were 230 steers on offer.
