Livestock for the week ending May
8 were 2,115 head of cattle, 800
lambs and goats.
On Tuesday fed steers and heifers
sold on a steady market. Choice
steers and heifers sold $100 to $104
with sales to $114.25. Second cut
sold $95 to $100. Cows sold on a
strong high market. On Thursday
veal traded on a strong active
market. Holstein veal traded $1 to
$2 higher. Lambs, sheep and goats
all traded on a steady market. On
Friday calves and yearlings sold on
a steady trade.
There were 146 steers on offer.
